'A photo of the body was shown to Netanyahu and Trump,' reported Channel 12.
'Senior Israeli officials were informed of Khamenei's elimination. His body was recovered from the rubble of his compound,' reported public broadcaster Kan. There has been no confirmation of Khamenei's death from Tehran.
In a televised address on Saturday evening, the Israeli Prime Minister said that airstrikes in Iran had destroyed the Supreme Leader's compound, and added that 'all indications show this tyrant is no longer with us.'
Meanwhile, four people have been injured in a retaliatory Iranian missile strike on the world-famous five-star Fairmont hotel in
Dubai
.
Dramatic footage and images captured the moment the Palm Jumeirah Fairmont Hotel in Dubai was hit, and the front of the building's exterior was set ablaze by an ultra-fast Shahed drone.
The attack came as Iran carried out retaliatory strikes across the Middle East following the joint US-Israel attack on Tehran earlier today.

The famous Palm Jumeirah Fairmont Hotel in Dubai has been struck by an Iranian suicide drone.
Videos posted on social media show the building, which is popular with tourists on fire, with plumes of smoke billowing into the sky.
It comes as explosions have rocked the United Arab Emirates as Iran launched retaliatory missile strikes following the joint US-Israel attack on Tehran earlier today.
According to Dubai's media office, four people were injured in the strike.

Netanyahu says 'there are signs' that Iran's Khamanei is 'no longer'
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a televised address on Saturday evening that the strikes had targeted the compound of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
'There are growing signs that the tyrant is no longer alive,' he said.
It comes after Iran's foreign ministry said the supreme leader and the country's president are both alive and well.
"They are all safe and sound," a spokesman told Sky News.
"Yes, we have had some more some commanders who have been martyred as the result of this terrorist act of aggression.
"But what matters is that the Iranian nation, our armed forces, our brave armed forces are taking necessary measures to defend Iran in the most strongest way possible."
Iran calls for 'immediate action' from UN
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has written to the U.N. Security Council calling for the 15-member body to 'take immediate action in response to this breach of international peace and security.'
The council is expected to hold an emergency meeting later.
Araghchi reiterated that Iran will continue to retaliate by all means necessary and that 'all bases, facilities, and assets of the hostile forces in the region shall be regarded as legitimate military objectives.'
Kuwait airport hit by drone
Kuwait International Airport has confirmed that multiple people have been injured following a drone strike.
Officials say the situation is 'under complete control' despite damage being caused to the airport.
In a statement on X, the General Authority of Civil Aviation in the State of Kuwait stated, through its official spokesperson Abdullah Al-Rajhi, that a drone targeted Kuwait International Airport.
The spokesperson also confirmed that 'emergency procedures' were put into place, adding that the 'safety of passengers and workers represents the utmost priority'.
FBI teams 'on high alert'
FBI Director Kash Patel said on X that counterterrorism and intelligence teams have been directed to be 'on high alert' and that the bureau’s joint terrorism task forces are working round-the-clock to address and disrupt potential plots.
Turkish President Erdogan 'deeply disturbed' by conflict
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said he was 'deeply disturbed' by the Israeli-US attacks on Iran, but also condemned Tehran's retaliatory strikes on the Gulf, demanding action to end the conflict.
The confrontation began earlier on Saturday with the Israeli and US strikes and quickly broadened regionally as Tehran retaliated against Gulf states and Israel.
'We are deeply disturbed over the US-Israel attacks on our neighbour Iran,' Erdogan said in a televised address, in which he also denounced Iran's drone and missile attacks against the Gulf as 'unacceptable, regardless of the reason'.
'In order to prevent our region from experiencing greater suffering, all actors, especially the Islamic world, must take action,' he added.
